"I really enjoyed the workshop. Ok, maybe enjoyed isn’t the right word. I felt the pressure to come up with material for the assignments and the trepidation when clicking the link to the video critiques. But each time I walked away knowing I’d learned something important for me to move forward...Read more
"I learned so much… expanded my perspective, met wonderful photographers from near and far, and am a changed and better photographer after ten days with you all! "This was a great experience. I’m really impressed with your approach and wisdom; you’ve given me a lot to think about and continue to work on. And I learned a lot from others’ work and feedback. It’s great to see how effective this method of online teaching can be."
"This workshop has given me so much more than I would have dreamed of before. You have given so much of yourselves here, coming back to the essentials over and over. You are so spot on in your feedback and always giving that feedback in such a good way, with love. I like praise, but in this...Read more

"I’ve had a lot of fun with this class. I’ve had to say that as the one with ZERO background in photography, this class was particularly challenging for me – but in a good way! It was wonderful to see the creations of so many talented people and to hear your suggestions on how these great...Read more
"Thanks so much for this great workshop! I just love how you give feedback – it’s never offending, always constructive! I especially love the video feedback you are doing for the assignments! It’s great to see all the feedback on everyone’s assignments as I learn from that, too. Thanks...Read more
"Thank you for all. Not only for the enormous commitments, the thoughtful assignments, the constructive and (sometimes) breathtaking, well-written feedback, and the inspiration – but just for… everything."
"I thought the workshop was great. You both were good at describing what worked and what did not work in your eyes, and the information you gave helped widened my visual vocabulary and made me reexamine ways that I saw things."
"Thank you for all your passion and inspiration, the incredible love for detail that you include in your criticism and your unremitting commitment (did you guys sleep at all?). I am amazed what you helped me do even though I’ve never really shot portraits and I just got an iPhone a couple of...Read more
